Thursday, 16th August

Again the day starts out sunny and warm, what a luxury! We have done our shopping the previous day, so we "take the day of" and we stay at the park. We indulge the rest of the day in sun bathing and reading. I take upon me the responsibility to reduce the bear supply to nil, and the kids enjoye themselves in the pool or the lake.

We manage to stay motionless until dusk. What an achievement, I am so proud of myself! The animation team has organised a children's Playback show that will start at eight o´clock in the evening. So, I have to make an attempt to move, or else we will be late. That proves to bee slightly difficult after a long day of doing absolutely nothing.

Nevertheless, we are there in time to see the start of the show. The end of the show is scheduled at ten o´clock in the evening, so I go along because by then it will be pitch black. Even though there are some lights (not that many) available throughout the park, we don´t want the kids to roam around by themselves that late at night. I go in with them and watch the show start. It is quite amusing actually. I therefore stay for about half an hour, after which I strategically take position in the bar.

Sorry, that is it. Nothing exiting happened today. We will try to do better tomorrow.
