Summer holiday 2003
Our summer vacation for the year 2003 has brought us to France again. To the far south of France to be exact. We have taken a swim in the Mediterranean, we walked through medieval cities, and we have showed of and paraded at the local harbour. We also did quit a lot of sun bathing and even lots more of "nothing at all!".
We set out in the middle of the night around 04:00 Hr. in a dark and rainy night. What a start for a summer vacation! Our first objective....
We get up early and go to the dining room were we have a good breakfast. Around 08:30 hr. we leave the hotel....
Firts thing we do this morning is go to the park supermarket for some fresh French bread and croissants for breakfast. Having finished breakfast....
What is the first thing to do in France in the morning? That´s right! Get some fresh....
Gooooooooood morning France. Fresh French bread, real butter and croissants! Yeaaah! Man, I just....
Wednesday equals market day! This morning we get up around 08:00 hr., have an early breakfast, and then leave....
A visit to the park supermarket for some fresh bread, that is the first thing I do this morning. And breakfast of course!....
We get up late today, 09:30 hr.. At the supermarket I get some French bread and croissants! Again yeah....
We get up late this morning, around 09:30 hr., and indulge again in croissants. After having finished ....
This morning after breakfast we take a walk to the "Lunapark Island". From the port´s quay it is clearly visible....
Nothing. Nada. Niks. I am not doing anything today, except hang around a bit, read a bit, and drink a lot. Water this time....
We get up early and go for some fresh bread and croissants. Early, because today I have planned a visit to the medieval citadel of Carcassone....
Fresh croissants and French bread! Have I mentioned I love breakfast? Anyway, this morning we do absolutely nothing, but read and lay about....
Croissants and fresh French bread for breakfast! In the past two weeks I have developed this terrible addiction to fresh French bread....
After breakfast we finish loading the car with the remainder of our luggage. We then learn from some others that they want to have passed Lyon before....
