The hotel Regno is a small hotel in the centre off Rome. We stayed on the fourth floor, that is the floor above the balcony. Our room was nice and clean, and furnished with air-conditioning. The bathroom is small, well furnished and clean also (with complementary bath slippers). The towels are regularly changed. The breakfast is good (we had bed and breakfast); they have fresh rolls, meat, cheese, marmalade, freshly cut mixed fruit salad and breakfast cereals! It's all there. Not to mention milk and orange juice. Even a cooked egg if you want. It is a small dinner but it is well furnished and neat with a friendly staff. This is a hotel that I can fully recommend! We had a great time.

Another interesting aspect is that it is smack in the middle off Rome and therefore on walking distances (fifteen to twenty minutes) from many sites off interest. The Via del Corso is a long street that runs north to south. It has many shops in it and in the weekend it can be quite busy at times. During the weekend a large part off the Via del Corso is blocked for traffic. Pedestrians only! Many people go there in the evening for a walk and to enjoy the night life.

As mentioned before, we had bed and breakfast. That is why we went out for dinner in the evening; there are so many nice restaurants there. The menu cards generally show main courses and side dishes. It is the intention that you choose a main course and supplement it with side dishes. You chose the tuna steak for a main course and to that you ad for instance the potatoes or a pasta and a salad. If you order a tuna steak, then that is all you get! A three course meal with drinks is about twenty-five Euro's a plate.
